    The Setting 

    Tulum is a place where wild beauty and ancient history intertwine. This coastal sanctuary is set where the Caribbean Sea meets the powdery white sand of the Yucatan Peninsula. Set on the sacred land of the Yucatec Maya people, this region is filled with a deeply rooted spiritual energy and every element feels alive with meaning.

    The Amansala Resort offers a unique blend of barefoot luxury and eco-conscious living. The resort reflects the vision of its female founder, with intentional and indigenous inspired details that makes each stay feel intimate and authentic.

    Tulum is a place of ancient ruins, hidden cenotes with crystal-clear waters, and lush landscapes rich in biodiversity. With its tropical climate, vibrant culture, and grounding natural beauty, it’s a haven for those seeking inspiration restoration.

     

    The Yoga

    Rachel with be offering daily yoga practices. This retreat is open to all ability levels and ages. Hatha, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Nidra, Yin Yoga traditions will be honored. Each day begins with a morning practice.  A second, meditative, restorative practice will be offered in the evening. Your level of commitment is entirely up to you. Take what you need and leave the rest.

    The rhythm of a retreat shapes the entire experience, which is why ELEVATE: Tulum 2027 is intentionally curated to balance deep stillness with soulful exploration, and moments of solitude with meaningful connection. 

    In Tulum, your days will unfold with intention. You’ll step into ancient tradition during a sacred Mayan clay ceremony, allowing the earth itself to cleanse, ground, and renew your energy. Or perhaps you journey to the crystal-clear waters of Gran Cenote for a refreshing and immersive swim, surrounded by limestone formations and lush jungle.

    Explore the Temple of the Wind God at the City of Dawn with Rachel who is a professional Archeologist. This experience connects you to the past while being completely absorbed in the present moment.

    Each experience is designed to flow effortlessly into the next, creating a retreat that feels expansive and grounded.


    The Spa 

    Rooted in the ancient healing traditions of the Maya, the spa offers thoughtfully curated treatments designed to restore balance and reconnect you to the rhythms of nature. Each experience draws on sacred elements of earth, water, fire and air. These rituals are an invitation to soften and immerse yourself in a sense of timeless renewal.

    Rachel Larsen- Yoga Educator, Professor of Anthropology and Archeology, Traveler, and author of ELEVATE- A Chakra Mapping Journey- has been teaching for 25 years. Her lifelong exploration of the world and the human spirit has taught her that true travel is a sacred journey of connection, forming bonds and relationships that nourish the soul. Guided by her deep wisdom and a vast global network, she creates experiences that awaken, inspire, and transform.

    Travel Info

    International flights should arrive into and depart from Funchal Airport (FNC), Madeira.
    Transfers between the airport and the hotel can be arranged upon request (not included in program cost).
